The Reshotel is nothing short of a marvel, a retreat of rare and wondrous beauty. Nestled within an epic rainforest garden, it boasts two pools, each offering a distinct and serene communion with nature. One cannot help but admire the thoughtful design of the grounds, where the hotel and its verdant surroundings coexist in harmonious respect for the ancient trees that predate them. The accommodations, glorious and immaculate, are scattered like jewels throughout the forest, evoking the charm of a dreamlike woodland tale. Every sense is caressed by the abundance of Sai Yok’s nature: the melodies of myriad birds, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the soft murmur of the forest. Here, one feels immersed in a realm untouched by time. The culinary offerings are a testament to the richness of Thai tradition, each dish crafted with a care and skill that elevates it to the extraordinary. The hospitality of the staff reflects the graciousness of their manager, whose warmth infuses every interaction with kindness. The spa, an oasis of rejuvenation, offers treatments of rare expertise; the masseuse, with her deft hands, is a master of her art. Our two days here were nothing short of transcendent, a rare blend of elegance and nature’s splendor. A visit to the nearby Mon village, with its ethereal atmosphere, crowned the experience. Truly, Reshotel is a haven beyond compare, a place where the soul finds both solace and inspiration

This is a lovely resort great for families with the 2 big pools and right on the river. Comfy rooms with air con, has a resort feel. I would recommend it. My only point is research the cost of activities and also local transport before booking as it’s fair to say prices are very high. I stayed with my 16 year old daughter and I imagined we would be kayaking, doing day trips etc but everything was quite pricy by Thai standards. We were travelling independently and it meant I only did a fraction of what I was anticipating. To be fair the prices may match the quality of the resort but we got a great price for the room so I hadn’t budgeted accordingly and as resort is an hour from Kachanaburi costs to town or to erawan falls were quite high. A la carte in restaurant and drinks were really reasonable though. I honestly had a great time here and I would encourage people to stay - especially with kids as the whole place is well run and easy - but this was my only thing. It’s a shame as we would have done a lot more I think if things weren’t so costly. As I say this is compared to local standards elsewhere.

Secluded resort located in nature. The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. The view of the river and the rock wall on the other side is just amazing. The resort is mostly quiet, except for the sound from the boat engine from time to time. The room itself is spacious and very clean. The decoration is stylish and straightforward. The bed is comfortable. The lighting in the room is functional and aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom is clean with separation between the toilet and the shower. It would be better with a rain shower. There are many activities to offer and massage on location at quite reasonable prices. The breakfast was a standard buffet with both Western and Eastern styled breakfast. It was decent and filling.

The breakfast buffet was great and the restaurant was generally very tasty. I liked how quiet it was and the grounds had ample space for walking about. The massage was not bad too but nothing special, reasonably priced though. Previous reviews said the wifi was poor in the room, which was kinda true, but I found it still good enough (if you sit in certain spots) to get work done, if you're just sending emails or browsing the net. The wifi at the restaurant or lobby is very fast, so if you have video calls etc. you would have to sit there, but there are tables and chairs.

The size of the bungalow and bathroom was excellent. Having a choice of two pools was a delight. The grounds were well kept and it was lovely to take a walk around the grounds or river. You were truly immersed in the jungle and it was a fabulous place to relax. Pool towels - good quality and as many as you needed Evening meal - excellent and reasonably priced for a hotel Mon village shop - can walk to it, great to support the local community, sold basic essentials. No alcohol but shop 4 mins drive from hotel did, if you needed it.
